Practical Information


To organise and facilitate journeys during the three day event, the Toulon Provence Méditerranée agglomeration community has organised a specific mobility plan :

  • park-and-ride facilities East and West of the city with a total of 9000 parking spaces
  • a reinforced intercity network (public transport, regional trains, high-speed national trains)
  • a specific public transport ticketing system for just 1 euro per day

How to get here

By plane

  • Toulon-Hyères International Airport  : flights from Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Brest, Corsica and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands and the UK).
  • Marseille Provence Airport : regular flights for major French, European, and Mediterranean cities.
  • Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport  : over 100 destinations worldwide.

By train

  • TGV from Paris (3h40), Lyon and Northern Europe. www.voyages-sncf.fr
  • Regional express trains, information and timetables. www.ter.sncf.com/paca . Operating times and frequency for regional trains will be increased.

By car

  • From Marseille (60 km), take the A50 highway and follow directions for « Aubagne-Toulon ».
  • From Aix-en-Provence (80 km), on the A8 at the La Barque intersection take the A52 highway towards « Toulon » then the A50 highway
  • From Nice (150 km), take the A8 highway, follow directions for « Aix-en-Provence », then the A57 for « Toulon ».

By bus

Operating times and frequency for Mistral public transport will be increased East of Toulon, West of Toulon, in the city centre, and from the car parks at the park-and-ride facilities. Shuttle services will be run from Toulon-Hyères airport.

By coach

The Varlib network’s regular lines will be reinforced to and from the coach station next to the train station.

By ferry shuttle

Three Mistral public transport ferry lines operate within Toulon Bay : Toulon / La Seyne centre, Toulon / Les Sablettes and Toulon / Saint-Mandrier.

By cycle

  • Free parking for cycles near the event at Le Mourillon
  • Enjoy the 250 km of cycle paths in the agglomeration

Specific parking will be provided in the Mourillon area, close to the event.

The Sainte-Hélène bus stop if equipped for wheelchairs.
